Beer Packaging

The Morton Arboretum collaborated with Lake Effect Brewing Company to create two unique beers that incorporate items from trees. Arbor Oak Amber Ale is brewed with Oak chips from fallen trees and Joy Path Juniper Saison uses Juniper berries.

The bottle labels were designed to work in a series and images on each bottle related to the ingredients used during the brewing process. Bold imagery was used for each to make it stand apart from competitors, while still aligning with The Morton Arboretum brand. Arbor Oak Amber Ale gained enough popularity that six-pack carriers were created to sell at local Binny's and Whole Foods stores.
